Pastors Remarks
Dear Church Family,
Spring is here and Gods beautiful creation is springing to life. All around
us we see flowers blooming and trees putting out lush green growth, not to
mention the sweet smell of orange blossoms in the air. Speaking of new
life, we are coming off a great Easter season of celebrating the resurrection
of our Lord. Two weeks ago the Adult Choir did a splendid job of ministry
as they, under the direction of Bro. Ed, presented their cantata on Palm
Sunday. A great big thank you for all your hard work and faithfulness.
Our Easter celebration was a great time together as we remembered our
living God. We should continue the celebration as we rejoice in a God who
loves and provides grace and mercy to sustain us everyday.
We have just finished our five week War Room Bible study on
Wednesday evenings. Those were some powerful lessons, as we were
reminded of several themes, namely grace, forgiveness, spiritual warfare,
and the power of prayer. This Wednesday evening we will begin the study,
Experiencing God, Knowing and Doing the Will of God, which is a great
discipleship study. Those who have not been through it need to, and even if
you have been through it, the review will be worthwhile.
Vacation Bible School is not far away (June 13-17). If you are available
those dates, we need your help. This is a great opportunity for us to share
Jesus with children and adults. Just let us know where you would like to
serve and which age group.
Our winter guests are beginning to leave to go back to their northern
homes. I appreciate their faithfulness while they are here. Blessings on
them as they travel.
Lets be found faithful in these days!
In His love,
Bro. Darrol

We are also very happy to say that the 100 Envelope Fundraiser was a success as well! In the 2 months that the
display has been in the foyer, our church family has donated $2,570.00! Combined with the total funds
accumulated with the O2 Caf, we have raised $4,509.19!! That is an amazing testimony to the giving spirit of our
church body! Thank you so much for everyone who participated in these fundraisers. It is only through your giving
that many of these students have the opportunity to experience youth camp. As someone who personally was saved
at a week-long youth camp that I could not afford, I assure you your investment is more than worthwhile. Thank
you.
In order for our student ministry to fund our entire group, we need to raise just over $7,000. W e are so close!!! If
you would like to help us continue working towards our goal, you can become a full or partial sponsor of a student.
Simply drop your gift into the offering plate and designate it Y OUTH CA MP and it will get to the right place.
You are a significant reason we are reaching students for the kingdom!
Keep fishing,
Bro. Brian

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens,
and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. 1 Chronicles 29:11 ESV
