group to exert a submaximal force repeatedly over a period of

Muscular Flexibility: Ability to readily adapt to

changes in position or alignment

Aerobic Fitness: Ability to perform large muscle,

dynamic, moderate to high intensity exercise for prolonged


periods

Body Composition: Amount of lean body mass (all

tissues other than fat, such as bone, muscle, organs, and body
fluids) compared with the amount of body fat

Skill Related Fitness

Agility: Ability to start, stop, and move the body quickly in

different directions while under control

Speed: Ability to move the whole body quickly

Power: Ability to exert muscular strength quickly

Balance: A state in which the body has the ability to move

in space in a controlled movement; equilibrium

Coordination: Harmonious interaction; synchronizing

movement.
