Dear Mr. Smith:
Hello, my name is William Park. I recently saw an advertisement outside of the Coquitlam
Centre Sport Chek stating that workers are needed, and I am very interested in beginning work
here. I think that Sport Chek would be a great work experience for me and I believe that I would
be a great addition to the team, no matter what position I am assigned to.
I have had previous work experience but I have never worked at a business as large as Sport
Chek. At every job that I have had, I have always performed to the best of my ability and have
often been complimented by my employers and fellow employees for my quality of work. There
have been numerous instances after my soccer referee assignments where my mentor referee
has complimented my performance, and I know that I can adapt to any situation necessary and
bring that determination with me. Sports are a huge part of my life: I have participated in
swimming, Taekwondo, basketball, tennis, track and field, and soccer and SportChek is my go to
store for all of my equipment. I am very familiar with the store, which is why it would be
amazing if I could work there.
