A 400 V, 50 Hz, 4 pole, three pahase, star connected induction motor has
per phase stator impedance Z1=0,07+j0,3 and per phase rotor impedance
reffered to stator side Z2= 0,08+j0,3 . The per phase magnetizing
reactance is 10 and resistance representing core-loss is 50 . The slip is 4
%. Usimh approximate equivalent circuit, calculate (i) stator current and
stator power factor (ii) developed torque (iii) gross efficiency
Solution. As per the given data we have,
R1=0,07 ; X1= 0,3 ; R2=0,08 ; X2=0,3
