Air Pollution
Air Pollution.
In the case of air pollution, the air is contaminated and the people
and creatures who breathe it are at risk of dying.
Air pollution is created by smoke from cars, chemical
plants, oil refineries and petrochemical plants.
Air pollution also increases the global warming.
The countries with more air pollution are China, USA
and Russia.
Water Pollution
It is the contamination
of oceans, rivers,
aquifers. Water pollution
is produced when
chemicals and plastic rubbish are directly or
indirectly discharged into water. Water pollution
affects the entire biosphere (plants and organisms
living in these bodies of water and the nature itself!
The countries with more water pollution are India, Morocco and
Belgium.
We need water to survive, so we have to keep it clean!
Soil Pollution
Soil pollution is part of land
degradation and is also caused by
chemicals Industrial and agricultural
products (petroleum, solvents,
pesticides, etc) and garbage
(plastic, metals).
Polluted soil
affects human
health via direct
contact with soil or inhalation of soil vapors. It also
affects plants, which require soil.
The most polluted-land countries are USA, China
and Australia.
Radioactive Pollution
Radioactive pollution is the
deposition or presence
of radioactive substances on soil
surfaces.
Radioactive contamination is the
result of a spill or accident during the production or use
of radioactive elements.
This pollution is potentially dangerous for the human
body. It provokes malformation of babies and many
illnesses like cancer.
Possible Solutions
Now there exist many organizations like
Greenpeace and Earth Action that fight for the
environment. They encourage practices like
recycling, reusing, minimizing and preventing wasting. All of us have to take
care of our planet and do the same, it is our responsibility.
