Roles and Responsibilities of First Aid Team

Team Leader
Shall ensure the following:
a. Establish a Temporary Emergency Care Unit (TECU) at the evacuation area;
b. Ensure the availability of adequate supplies, materials, emergency equipment for use
in the TECU; and
c. Provide first aid and also emergency rescue to the injured.

Alternate Team Leader

a. Do the responsibility of the team leader if he is absent;
b. Help the team leader in his responsibilities; and
c. Provide first aid and also emergency rescue to the injured.

Other Members
a. Assist the alternate team leader and team leader;
b. Provide first aid and also emergency rescue to the injured.

Search and Evacuation Team

Prepare the necessary things needed in the evacuation area;
Organize the evacuees;
Familiarize with all evacuation routes and exits in the area.

Team Member
a. Always ready to help the team leader and alternate team leader in preparing the
