About CasioCom
CasioCom is a new tool to communicate with your Casio Calculator (using a link cable). CasioCom works with Casio
Graph, Casio CFX 9850 compatibles and others. Algebra FX2.0 and Graph 100 are also supported (only programs)

Installation Notes
Download CasioCom and extract the zipfile into a directory.
Install the Casio FX font by copying casiofx.ttf to c:\windows\fonts.
Run CasioCom.exe .
Basics of CasioCom
How does CasioCom handle data ?
On the left part of CasioCom, you see all programs, pictures, matrices... available in CasioCom. This data is always
automatically saved in CasioCom so you don't have to use 'Save'.
The 'Open' and 'Save' functions are rather 'import' and 'export' functions.
How to send data from your calculator to CasioCom ?
CasioCom is always waiting to receive data. So you don't have to press a button in CasioCom to make it receive data from
your calculator. It's even possible to let CasioCom stay in the tray so you can send whatever you want to the PC without
touching it.
To receive data from your calculator, select the link icon on your calculator, choose Transmit and follow the instructions.
CasioCom receives and stores the data.
If you want to transmit a screenshot, first set the Image Set Mode in the Link menu on your calculator to Monochrome or
Color. Go to the screen where you want to take the screenshot and press the button [F-D].
How to transmit data to your calculator ?
First, select the link icon on your calculator and choose Receive.
If you want to transmit only one item, rightclick on that item in the left part of CasioCom and choose Transmit.
If you want to transmit more items at once, rightclick each item and select Queue for transmission. When all items are
select, press F9.
How to send a .bmp to the calculator or import it in CasioCom ?
It's very easy to import a .bmp file. Click on 'Open' and select the .bmp file. Then, a dialog appears : you have 2 modes to
import it, click on each one to see its effect and choose the best. Then another dialog appears : if you want to import it, just
click on OK; if you want to send it to the calculator, first select 'Transmit directly to the calculator' and then OK.
How to crack passwords ?
If you want to reveal the password from a program on the calculator, CasioCom can do it for you easily. First send a
backup from the calculator to CasioCom. Then select that backup on the screen; CasioCom will list all programs with the
passwords.

How can I run Casio programs or games on my PC ?

CasioCom has an emulator for Casio programs. Select the program and click on 'Emulate'.
Why can't I send nor receive data with my calculator ?
First make sure that the link cable is well seated into the calculator. Check also that you've selected the right type (see
below 'Settings') and the right comm port in the settings (usually COM2). You can also download a new version of
CasioCom if available. If that doesn't help, try other link programs like FA-122, FA-123, FX-Interface or XChange to see
where the problems is. If none of those programs works, there's probably something wrong with your link cable, otherwise
the problem lies within CasioCom; if this is the case, contact me and mention your cable type, calculator type and the
operating system.
How does the NewsBar work ?
The NewsBar displays information about CasioCom and Casio related stuff. It gets it's update everytime CasioCom starts
(unless you disable the NewsBar from the Settings). Only if there is a connection to the internet, the NewsBar retrieves
new information. (It uses http to get this data, so no personal data is sent).
Settings
-Type : use CFX for Graph 25, 30, 35, 60, 65 and for CFX 9850 & compatibles
-Type : use ALGEBRA for Graph 100, Algebra FX2.0 & compatibles
-Fill Lists & Matrices : Use this option when a game/program tries to access e.g. List 1[0] without using e.g. 5->Dim List
1 or {0,0,0}->List 1
-Full Speed : runs a game/program as fast as possible (otherwise it runs at normal Casio speed)
-Auto Correct : This feature automatically converts eg. -> and => to the Casio symbol for it.
Algebra FX2.0 & Graph 100
Only programs can be exchanged with an Algebra FX2.0 and Graph 100. Note that CasioCom doesn't support the Algebra
FX2.0 specific symbols.
Troubleshooting
- If you are using less than 32bit colors, it is possible that matrix / image / emulator doesn't display anything.
- After a copy operation in the editor, press F5 (refresh). This will update everything.
