ROUNDING NUMBERS IN 4 EASY STEPS

With an example

Round 34,621 to the nearest hundred.

Find the Target number.


Round 34,621 to the nearest hundred.
The 6 would be our target number because it is the number in the hundreds
place.

2. Look at the number to the right of your Target number. That is your Helper
number.

2 is your Helper because it is to the right of your Target number.

same.
