Tanah Merah Station. NOTE: Both doors of the train will
open upon arrival at Tanah Merah. If im not mistaken, you
should get off at the left door - the side towards Joo
Koon ( Still check it though) . The other side is towards
Pasir Ris. You should be at the side towards Joo Koon.
Once you got out the wrong side and the train already
left, you can no longer transfer to the other side. You
have to wait for the next train to arrive and make that as
a bridge to transfer to the other side.
From Tanah Merah Station, take the train bound for Joo
Koon and alight at Paya Lebar. Change line to Circle Line.
Take the train from Paya Lebar bound for Dhoby Ghaut and
NOT bound for Marina Bay. Alight at Bras Basah Station.
Take Exit E to go to Bayview Hotel Singapore.
Estimated time of arrival at the hotel : 1:3OPM
Check in.
Where to go: Merlion
Take the bus at Manulife Ctr Bus Station ( STOP ID 04189)
at Bras Basah Rd - ask your hotel how to go here.
Take Bus 131 (Bt Merah Int). Alight at OUE Bayfront - on
the 4th stop ( Your origin counted as 0 )
Then walk to the Merlion Park. You may ask the security
guards around how to reach Merlion.
Time to spend: atleast an hour
Where to go: Gardens By The Bay
From here, just take a cab to Marina Bay Sands. It should
cost less than 7SGD. Ask the driver to drop you off at the
entrance of the hotel. Just before the entrance door, you
would see an elevator ( this is outside the hotel), take
it to reach the 2nd floor. Take the door to enter the
hotel and you should be in a bridge-like(or overpass?)

connecting the two sides of the building. Cross the bridge

to reach the other door. When you get out of that door,
you can already see the Gardens By The Bay. There are
benches here where you can take some rest.
Enter the Gardens By The Bay ( no admission fee ) and take
pictures. This is a big area so you need atleast 2-3 hours
to go around. Wait until the trees are lit up at night and
wait for the light show. If you want, before the light
show starts, go up to the bridge connected to the trees
(Admission fee is 5SGD) and stay there to watch the light
show. Its like Avatar!
Where to go: Helix Bridge.
Time to spend: Atleast an hour
Go back to the where you were dropped by the taxi driver (
where you took the elevator ). Just upon exiting the
elevator, turn RIGHT. Or better, ask hotel staff how to go
Helix Bridge. Its a bit confusing because you get to cross
a non-pedestrian road. I will just instruct you in person.
Hehe
Helix Bridge - known as the best spot to see Singapores
Skyline. If you see a bridge with lights on it, thats the
Helix Bridge. It has circles on its side - known as stop
over. Stop here to take pictures. Continue to walk until
the end of the bridge.
At the end, you would see an old man selling Ice Cream
Wafers. You should try it. And sit at the stairs while
having some rest.
Where to go: Makansutra Gluttons Bay
Time to spend: Atleast an hour
Makansutra Gluttons Bay is a popular hawker center, which
opens until 2am.

opens until 2am.

Going here from the helix bridge is just easy. You can see
signs. But to be sure, you may ask people around. They
might know where it is.
Where to go: Hotel - to rest.
Ask the staff at Makansutra how to go to the nearest MRT
station. They will instruct you very well. :) Take the
train from that station to Bras Basah ( refer to the
singapore mrt map - you should bring this with you all
the time)
If you still have energy, you can visit Mustafa Center in
Little India. This is a big mall open for 24 hours. You
can buy some souvenirs here like Cadburry chocolates,
hersheys syrup, and NUTELLA at a cheaper price.
Call it a day..
DAY 2 June 5, 2016
Where to go: Sentosa Island
Take the train from Bras Basah to Harbourfront Station.
(refer to SG MRT Map)
I think there is only one exit here, but to be sure, take
the exit going to the VivoCity Mall. Just follow the other
passengers, most likely sa mall din punta nila. You will
reach the ground floor of the mall, then proceed to the
top most floor ( 6th flr ata or 5th floor) where the
sentosa express train station is located.
Buy your ticket from the counter. Ticket is 4SGD. Ask the
staff to give you sentosa island map.
There are only 4 stations in the Sentosa Express Line Sentosa Station ( this is where you will take the train) > Waterfront Station -> Imbiah Station -> Beach Station.
Alight at Waterfront Station. This is where the Universal

Alight at Waterfront Station. This is where the Universal

Studios is. You may choose to skip this one since you will
be visiting USS naman the next day.
Next: Imbiah Station. Take note that once you get in the
island, it is now free to take any train. The 4SGD ticket
you bought is merely for entering the island.
What to do here:
Picture taking with the giant Merlion Statue.
4D Adventureland - Take the 3 escalators to Imbiah
Lookout. Admission fee is 35SGD ( one day unlimited
pass) Just search about 4D adventureland and decide if
you wanna visit it or not.
Next: Beach Station
What to do here:
Skyline Luge!!! - this is a must try
Visit Siloso Beach and Palawan Beach. There are a lot
of signs in the island going to a specific attraction.
You wont get lost.
After visiting, go back to the Sentosa Station - the first
station. Again, feel free to use the train. Just upon
exiting, on your left is the Vivo City Food Republic. Take
your late lunch here.
Where to go: Chinatown for pasalubong buying
Time to spend: atleast 2 hours
Take the train from Vivo City Mall ( Harbourfront Station
) to Chinatown. Refer to the mrt map. Take exit A to go to
Smith Street - it is the street with stalls selling
souvenirs. Just roam around - just know how to go back to
Smith Street.
If you want to take some snack or dinner, go back to the
station and take exit C to get to Chinatown Food Center.

station and take exit C to get to Chinatown Food Center.

Its also connected to a mall where you can walk around and
change some money - just in case you ran out of sgd :-P
Take the train back to your hotel and rest. You can call
it a day. OR, if you still have time, you can revisit
Merlion Park to see it at night.
Call it a day..
DAY 3 June 6, 2016 Universal Studio Singapore
Allot the whole day to visit USS. Directions to here is
the same with going to Imbiah Station. Its just that you
have to alight at the Waterfront Station of the Sentosa
Express Train. The USS Globe is like 2 mins walk from the
exit of Waterfront Station. I am not sure of the
admisssion fee, but it should be around 65-75SGD. Outside
drinks and snacks are not allowed inside the park.
DAY 4 June 7, 2016
Where to go: Lucky Plaza in Orchard Road
Time to spend: Your choice, just make sure to be back at
the hotel before your check out at 12.
Take the train to Orchard Station, and take Exit A going
to Lucky Plaza. Signs are all around so you wont get lost.
Lucky Plaza is a place for Filipinos, so dont be shocked
whenever someone talks to you in Tagalog. There is a
Jollibee in this area - you may try! lol. Also, Lucky
Plaza is a small mall where you can buy souvenirs as well.
Orchard is also a place for high-end shopping. FYI lang :P
Check out.. Proceed to Golden Mile Complex - it is where

Check out.. Proceed to Golden Mile Complex - it is where

you will take the bus to Kuala Lumpur. The bus name is
Star Mart Express. I am not sure of the current price, but
it was 25SGD when i last visited. JUST DONT BUY ROUNDTRIP
TICKET - it is cheaper when you buy the ticket in KL.
How to:
Nearest station to Golden Mile Complex is Nicoll Highway.
But i suggest you just take a cab so the driver will drop
you directly right in front of the building. BTW, dont
expect to see a real terminal station. Its just actually a
building, and the bus is parked just in front of it.
Better ask the staff when you get there.
The trip to KL is roughly 6 hours, but it depends on the
traffic. You will be travelling day time so it might take
7 hours.
Things to note:
1. Always remember your bus number.
2. You will be asked to get out of the bus to formally
exit Singapore. You just need to bring with you your
passport with the portion of the arrival card given to
you when you entered Singapore. You need not to bring
with you your luggage.
3. After the immigration, the bus continues to travel and
it should be on a long long bridge ( which connects
Singapore and Malaysia). At the end of the bridge, you
would need to go down again and this time, bring with
you your luggage.
You will be dropped off at Berjaya Times Square. Just pay
attention to the announcement of the driver or the
konduktor. But i think this is their endpoint. Not sure
though.
Go inside Berjaya Times Square and have your SGD/PHP

Go inside Berjaya Times Square and have your SGD/PHP

changed to MYR. When you enter the mall, the money changer
is on the right side. I think its beside the rest room.
Their rates are good. :) Just ask the mall staffs if you
cant find it. There is only one money changer here.
Take the train from Imbi Station Monorail Station. Yes,
monorail. Dont expect to see trains like in Singapore.
Hehe This is just in front of Berjaya Times Square. Theres
no way you cant see it. Buying ticket here is via machine.
Its not confusing naman as per my experience. Buy ticket
to Hang Tuah Monorail Station - where your hotel is near.
Check in then head to Jalan Alor for dinner. Jalan Alor is
a long street with restaurants.Food here is very cheap.
Again, VERY CHEAP. :-P
If you plan to take a cab to Jalan Alor, make sure to ask
your hotel first how much SHOULD IT COST. Unlike in
Singapore, taxi drivers in KL do not use taxi meters. They
will give you a fixed rate, so know in advance how much
the trip SHOULD cost by asking your hotel.
If you want to take the train, alight at Bukit Bintang
Station and take the exit right next to Lot10 Shopping
Mall. From there, its a 5 minute walk to Jalan Alor. But
its safe to ask the people ( especially the vendors ) how
to reach Jalan Alor. On your way, you would see a lot of
stalls selling souvenirs. It is here where you can buy the
cheapest Petronas Tower Souvenir.

Where to go: Batu Caves
Time to spend: Atleast 3-4hrs ( including the travel time
to Batu Caves Station)
How to go: Take the train to KL Sentral Station, NOT KL
SENTRAL MONORAIL. If youre in KL Sentral Monorail, you can
transfer to KL Sentral by just walking. Signs are
everywhere. You can ask the station staffs if you get
lost. KL Sentral is a very big station. There are lots of
trains departing here, so be sure you go to the right
platform.
If i remember it right, we went to KJ15 KL Sentral ( see
below) and bought our ticket here. Just tell them BATU
CAVES. The ticket costs 5MYR only.

The trip takes around 30 minutes. Batu Caves Station is

the last station and there is only one exit here. Just

the last station and there is only one exit here. Just
follow the other passengers, you are all going to the same

Where to go: Dinner at Chinatown.
Time to spend: Atleast an hour.
How to go: Chinatown is very close to Central Market. I
suggest you just take a cab. Again, before leaving your
hotel in the morning, ask the hotel staff how much your
trip from Central Market to Chinatown should cost. Also,
you can walk. See map below:

Go back to the hotel.

Head back to Pasar Seni Station. Take the train to Hang
Tuah Station.
DAY 6 June 9, 2016
Visit Petronas Tower so you can see it during daytime.
Take the train from the nearest station to KLCC Station.
Its better to take pictures with the towers during
daytime. Also, there is KLCC Park near the tower where you
can relax and see the twin tower from afar. Search in
advance the direction going to KLCC Park from Petronas

advance the direction going to KLCC Park from Petronas

Twin Tower.
Hotel check out.
Head back to Berjaya Times Square or Imbih Station. I
recommend taking a cab if you have lots of luggage with
you. Take the same bus - Star Mart Express. The bus ticket
back to Singapore when i visited was 38MYR. If converted,
38MYR is just 456PHP. If you booked the bus ticket in
Singapore, it should cost 25-30SGD and thats 875-1,050PHP.
Thats why i told you earlier not to book your KL-SG bus
ticket in Singapore.
Travel back to Singapore. Again, you will be asked to go
out from the bus when you reach the Malaysia Immigration.
Then after crossing the long bridge is the Singapore
Immigration. Note that Singapore Immigration is strict in
terms of Filipinos entering the country coming from
Malaysia. It is important that you have your plane ticket
( SG to Manila) and hotel reservation with you during SG
immigration, just in case they ask for it.
You will be dropped at Golden Mile Complex. Ask the
station staff how to go to Nicolls Highway Station. Take
the train here to Bras Basah. OR, just take a cab from
Golden Mile Complex.
Hotel Check in and have some rest.
Where to go: Bugis Street - Singapores Busiest Street.
How to go: Take the train to Bugis Station and take Exit
A.
What to do: Shopping, but girls clothes are more dominant
here. Found it difficult to find cheap clothings for guys.
Note: Search about Bugis Street and Marina Barrage. Let me
know which you prefer.
Where to eat: If decided to visit Bugis, Just roam around
and you would definitely see Albert Food Center. Take your

dinner here.
Call it a day.
DAY 7 June 10,2016

so it should total around 50SGD.
Check this website. I recommend booking it in advance. You
may check in this website the whole day itinerary

Pack your things before you call it a day. Be sure not to
forget anything.

Just make sure to be back at the hotel by atleast 1pm and

head to the airport by 2pm. Your flight is still at 7:40PM
but i suggest going to the airport early, check in
immediately, and finish immigration. Why? There are alot of
things to do in the airport - like watching a movie,
visiting the sunflower garden, etc, but these are found
AFTER immigration only. So if you finish immigration
earlier, you still have enough time to explore Changi
before heading to your boarding gate.
Take the flight back to Manila. Enjoy your trip!
