Minutes of the 1142nd Regular Weekly Meeting of Rotary Club of
Calcutta Inner City held on Friday, 22nd July 2016 at 7 pm at
Calcutta Club:
1. The 1142th Regular Weekly Meeting is called to order by the
President.
2. National anthem is led by Rtn. Chandrani Chakraborty.
3. Leave of absence is granted to PP Rtn. Noshir Framjee, Rtn. Ronit
Mitra and PDG Rtn. Nayantara Palchoudhury.

4. The minutes of the last three RWMs are circulated and

confirmed.
5. SECRETARY'S ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- The board of directors passed the application of Mr. Ritesh Kapoor
for induction as a member of Rotary Club of Calcutta Inner City. His
bio-data has been published in the Inner Voice. Members are
requested to inform the President and/or Secretary if he / she has
any opinion on him within 7 days of this publication.
- Anniversary greetings are conveyed to: Rtn. Bani Roy Choudhury
and Panna on 26th July and Rtn. Vivek Dutta and Aloka on 26th July
- PDG Rtn. Nayantara Palchoudhury was congratulated for
representing our club at Rotary Club of Raipur, District 3261 on 11th
July 2016 and Rotary Club of Calcutta Metro East on 15th July 2016
as Chief Guests.
- Rotary Club of Calcutta Inner City attended the installation
ceremonies of Rotary Club of Calcutta, RC Calcutta Mahanagar and
Rotary Club of Ballygunge.
- There would be no Regular Weekly Meeting for Calcutta Club AGM
on Friday, 29th of July 2016.
- The next Regular Weekly Meeting would be held on Friday, 5th
August, 2016, 1 pm at Calcutta Club. Our speaker on that day is
Amit Chatterjee.
- The programmes schedule for August is printed on page 2 of Inner
Voice.
6. PRESIDENT'S ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- The President informs about new Rotary regulations and the
resolutions passed in the last board meeting.
- The President welcomes the guest speaker Dr. Subir Hazra
Choudhury and introduces him.
7. The visiting speaker Dr. Subir Hazra Choudhury presents an
interactive session.
8. Vote of thanks is given by Rtn. Joy Kar. The gift is handed over to
the Guest Speaker by PP Rtn. Bani Roy Choudhury.
9. Sunshine Box collection was Rs.1150 with special contributions
from Rtn. Sudhir Ahuja, Rtn. Suman Chakraborty, Rtn. Vivek Dutta,
Rtn. Sisir Das, Rtn. Arun Deb Mukherjee and Rtn. Bani Roy
Choudhury.
10. Greetings is conveyed to Rotary Calcutta Mayfair which would
celebrate its 6th installation ceremony on Saturday, 23rd July 2016.
11. The President adjourns the meeting at 8.40 pm and invites all
members and guests to join the dinner.
