Procedures:
Attention getter: Boys and girls we are going to do a worksheet with the sight
word like and writing the word like in a sentence.

What you will do to teach the concept(s): Students will learn print awareness as
we read through the book, Here Are My Hands. They will be able to draw things
to do with their hands after we read and discuss it.

Guided practice: Students will listen to instructions about what kind of objects
we can use with our hands.
d.
Independent practice: Each student will complete their paper with one object
they can do with their hands.

VIII. Closure: Allow them the opportunity to share what they can do with their hands
to their peers.
