Sealed tenders for interior works at ASHOKNAGAR BRANCH, BELLAMPALLY are
invited from the Interior Contractors who are on the approved panel of the Bank.
1. Tenders will be received till 13.06.16 up to 4.00PM in the office of THE DEPUTY
GENERAL MANAGER, STATE BANK OF HYDERABAD,ZONAL OFFICE, 3 rd FLOOR,
RUKMINI CHAMBERS, VINAYAK NAGAR,NIZAMABAD,(A.P)-503003 . The tenders will

be opened on 13.06.16 at 4.00PM.

2. The contractors should quote in figures as well as in the words the rates, and
amount tenders by them. The amount for each item should be worked out and
the requisite totals given. Rates quoted by the contractor in item rate tender in
figures and words shall be accurately filled in so that there is no discrepancy in
the rates, figures and words. However, if a discrepancy is found the rates,
which correspond with the amount worked out by the contractor shall be taken
as correct. If the contractor does not work out the amount of an item or it does
not correspondent with the rate written either in figure or in words then the
rates quoted by the contractor in words shall be taken as correct. Where the
rates quoted by the contractor in figures and in words tally but the amount is
not worked out correctly the rates quoted by the contractor will be taken as
correct and not the amount.
3. The tender document must be filled in English and all the entries must be made
by the hand and Written in ink. If any of the documents are missing or unsigned, the tender shall be considered invalid.

4. The acceptance of a tender will rest with the Competent Authority, who does
not bind himself to accept the lowest tender and reserves to himself the
authority to reject any or all of the tenders received, without assigning any
reasons. All tenders in which any of the prescribed conditions are not fulfilled,
or are incomplete in any respect are liable to be rejected.
5. All compensation or other sums of money payable by the Contractor to Clients
under the terms of this contract may be deducted from the security deposit, or
from any sum that may be or may become due to the Contractor on any
account whatsoever and in the event of the Security Deposit being reduced by
reasons of any such deductions, the Contractor shall within 10Days days of
being asked to do make good in cash or by cheque any sum which have been
deducted from his security deposit.
6. Tender containing any condition leading to unknown/indefinite liability, are liable
to be summarily rejected. If at all any rebate(s) is/are to be offered the tenderer
shall first quote his rates strictly on the terms and conditions stipulated in
tender document and then show separately rebate(s) offered specifying the
conditions for such rebate(s). Failure to follow this procedure will render the
tender liable to summarily rejection.
7. Canvassing in connection with tenders is strictly prohibited and the tenders
submitted by the contractors who resort to canvassing will be liable to rejection.
8. The tenderer should quote their (own) rates for undertaking the work inclusive
of all taxes.
9. All taxes including Sales Tax or any other tax on material or on finished works
like works contract tax, turn over tax etc. in respect of this contract shall be
payable by contractor and the Bank will not entertain any claim whatsoever in
this respect.
10. Time is the essence of the contract. The work should be completed in Eight (8)
Weeks from the date of the work order issued to the contractor to commence
the work.
11. Tenders for works shall remain open for acceptance for a period of 90days
from the date of opening of tenders. If the tenderer withdraws his tender before
the expiry of the said period or makes any modifications in terms and condition
of the tender which are not acceptable to the Bank, then the bank without
prejudice to any other right or remedy be at liberty to forfeit the earnest money.
12. It will be obligatory on the part of the tenderer to tender and sign the tender
documents for all the component parts and that, after the work is awarded, he
will have to enter into an agreement for each component with the competent
authority in the bank.

13. The tenderer, apart from being a competent contractor must co-ordinate
himself with the agencies of appropriate class who are eligible to tender for (I)
Electrical (II) Air-Conditioning.
14. The tenderer should visit the site to ascertain the working conditions and local
authority regulations/restrictions if any and other information required for the
proper execution of the work.
15. The quantities of various items given in the schedule of quantities are
approximate. The quantities of work may vary at time of allotment / execution of
work. Bank reserves the right to omit / delete any item(s) of work from the
schedule at the time of allotment / before. Contractor will be paid for the actual
work done at the site duly verified by the concerned official of the bank.
16. The unit price shall be deemed to be fixed price. In case of extra items, a
record of labour charges paid shall be maintained and shall be presented
regularly to the Employers for checking. The settlement will be made based on
figures arrived at jointly and taking unit price given in the contract assigned to
the successful Tenderer. In case of extra items where similar or comparable
items are quoted in the tender, extra rates shall be based on tender rates.
17. No employee of the Bank is allowed to work as a contractor for a period of 2
years of his/her retirement from Bank Services without previous permission of
the Bank. This contract is liable to be cancelled, if either the contractor or any
of his employees is any time to be such a person who had not obtained the
permission of Bank as aforesaid before submission of the tender or
engagement in the contractors service.

COMPUTER CASH COUNTER
Providing and erecting computer cash counters as per
specification of above said computer clerical counter. In
addition, an in-built Service top of 15 wide will be provided in
the frame work at 1.5 height from the table top and laminate of
appropriate colour and shade shall be fitted on service top.
Further, 12 mm thick float glass with specified cutout hole shall
be provided on service top till 7 ht and fixed in 1.0 high wooden
frame with MDF beading of 1 x 0.5 size. All beading surfaces
to have zinc oxide polish of matching colour. The 12 mm thick
glass shall have etching work done as per the drawing /
instruction of engineer in-charge .

Supplying and Fixing of Glass door in approved position. The
door shall be made of 12 mm thick float glass & the glass shall
be fitted in a 6 inches wide C frame made with two layers of
19mm plywood & one layer of 12mm plywood and the height of
C frame shall be as per site condition. The 12mm plywood
member shall be sandwiched from its both sides by the two18
mm plywood members and the joints shall be made as per the
drawing and instructions of the engineer-in-charge. The door
shall be fixed on heavy duty floor spring hinges and with 2 Nos.
of 18 inch S.S. handles, one dead lock with three keys, its
fittings and fixtures, etc. complete all of approved make. The 12
mm thick glass shall have etching work (acid wash) done on it
as per the drawing. Door handle shall be of Kich Industries
make, stainless steel, AISI 316 grade pull handles, 22 mm dia x
300 mm STAIN CODE PHI 2212 S and shall be fixed in position.

Plywood shelves / compartments shall be provided at 15" c/c
horizontally and 3' 0" c/c vertically. The unit shall have hinged
type shutters on the front made out of 19 mm Plywood with
approved quality concealed hinges, locks tower bolts, knobs all
as per approved quality. All external surfaces to be laminated
with 1.0 mm thick laminate and all internal surfaces to be

WRITING DESK CUM VOUCHER RACK CUM CHEQUE

COLLECTION BOXES : Manufacturing and
supplying of writing desk cum voucher rack cum
cheque collection boxes made to shape and
4x4x1size as given in drawing & design. and the
unit shall be fixed in position as per site conditions
and instructions. The unit shall be made of 19 mm
and 8 mm thick plywood (as shown in drawing) and
all exposed surfaces of plywood shall be laminated
with 1.0 mm thick laminate of of approved shade and
make. The sides of the unit / boxes shall be made of
19 mm thick plywood, where as top, bottom, front
and back of the unit / boxes shall be made of 8mm
thick plywood and the boxes shall have slot (for
dropping of cheques) and door / shutter with lock
arrangement (for collection of cheques) in position
and as given in the drawing. The unit shall rest on 2
x 1 wooden framework recessed at bottom of
boxes. The Unit shall be fitted with 2.5 x 1.5 size 12
mm thick float glass of approved make and shape as
given in the drawing (with necessary hardware) for
the use as writing surface. Vertical glasses of 8 mm
thick float glass shall be provided at position and in
the shape as given in the drawing.

DISPLAY BOARD CUM INFORMATION UNIT

Manufacturing and supplying of display board cum information
unit of 4x2.5 size & made to shape as given in the drawing and
design. The unit shall be fixed in position as per instruction and
site condition. This unit shall be made of 12 mm ply board fitted
to wall with rawl plug / guttis and hardware. The 12 mm ply
board shall be covered with 6 mm thick soft particleboard,
including synthetic / cotton designer fabric (Rs.100/metre) etc.

guttis. The wooden frameworks to be covered with
6mm Plywood of approved make and laminated with
1.5 mm thick laminate of approved make and shade.
The necessary provision in wooden framework for
running of Electrical conduit has to be made.
Providing and fixing 18mm Plywood of approved make wood
through fascia made to shapes at the walls / sides of column as
per site condition and instructions with necessary rawl plugs /
guttis and Hardwares. All visible surface to be laminated with
1.0mm thick laminates of approved make and shade. Finish as
per instructions including all fixing member, rawl plugs
adhesives etc. complete.

FALSE CEILING (GRID TYPE)

Providing and fixing in true horizontal level false ceiling grid
system of Lafarge Boral / USG/ Indiagyp make or equivalent,
suspended on interlocking metal frame based grid system made
of hot dip galvanized steel sections as per manufacturers
specifications including making opening for electrical and AC
fitting complete as directed . The suspension system shall be
main runner of 3000mm spaced at 1200mm center fixed to soffit
by hangers at 1200mm distance. First and last hanger should
less or450mm from the adjacent wall. 1200mm cross tees to be
interlocked between main runner at 600mm c/c.600mm x
6oomm module to be formed by fixing 600mm cross tee, 19mm
wall angle to be secured to wall , 450mm center suspension to
be done by using soffit cleat, adjusting clip etc as per
manufacturers specification.
Glass facia on Cash counter:
12mm thick plain float glass with etching (cost of etching ` 40/per Sft) and of ht. 18 with curve design is to be fitted over the
working top along the length of the counter with necessary
steam beach wood supports finished with melamine polish shall
be provided. The glass should have specified cutout hole (arch)
in all counters. Glass edges should have crystal polishing. Cost
should also inclusive of paneling, lapping of edges with plywood
to achieve 40mm thickness and 40mm steam beach beading
and melamine polish as per design and approval of Engineer-incharges.
