The Vedic Path, a Quarterly Journal of English

The Vedic Path, a Quarterly Journal of English is a peer-reviewed international journal of


Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. The Journal is indexed in the
Guide to Indian Periodical Literature. It was originally published as The Vedic Magazine from
1906 to 1935 and thereafter it was named as The Vedic Path.
Focus of the Journal
The Journal aims at promoting Indian knowledge tradition, Indian and Western literary theories
and their applications to literature. The research papers dealing with any aspect of these areas are
published but the preference is given to the research papers of comparative or interdisciplinary
nature.
Guidelines for Authors
1 The paper should have theoretical/conceptual framework. It should make reference to previous
research or theories in the related field of study.
2. The paper should have methodology. Qualitative or quantitative empirical studies reported in
the paper should have a systematic and coherent method of study. The appropriate
approach/theory/tools should be applied to the text. The conclusions and/or implications should
correctlybe derived from the research findings.
3. The paper shouldadvance knowledge in/of the discipline. The findings and their implications
should be noteworthy. The paper should be of interest to people in academics and of relevance
to future research.
4. The paper should be of an acceptable quality in terms of linguistic accuracy,clarity and
coherence. The paper should be laid out in a logical format.
5. The paper should normally be 12 typed/printed pages in double space in Times New Roman
12 point font.
6. The paper should be in conformity to the MLA Handbook in matters of form.
