I will use e-portfolios in my future classroom. I would like to create a web page/ portfolio for the class. This e-portfolio will include
group projects and lessons. It will be a way of showing the growth and creativity of the class throughout the year. Also by having
a class portfolio I will be able to model what students are expected to do with their own portfolios. I will also have students
create their own e-portfolios. I plan to have different pages for different subjects but will encourage individuality and creativity
with each students page. I will begin the year with having students write learning goals that they will post. Then I will have
students analyze their learning throughout the year. Within the e-portfolios I will have students include a reflection journal where
they will regularly write. I will encourage students to use technology to their advantage having them create music, art, and
videos to share. I will also teach students about what is appropriate to include in a portfolio. I love the idea of self-assessment
which encourages intrinsic motivation, the e-portfolio is the perfect format for this type of lesson.
