Unit topic: Save the Animals
Length of lesson: 80 min
Aim: At the end of the lesson students will be able to talk about animals and name them. Also they will have
knowledge about how to protect the animals
Objectives:
1. Give an opinion at discourse level on a range of general and curricular topics
2. Begin to recognize typical features at word, sentence and text level of a range of spoken genres
3. Recognize typical features at word, sentence and text level in a limited range of written genres
4. Use formal and informal registers in their talk on a limited range of general and curricular topics
5. Understand narratives on a range of general and curricular topics
6. Understand specific information in texts on a limited range of unfamiliar general and curricular topics, including
some text types
7. Read a limited range of fiction and non-fiction texts on familiar and some unfamiliar general and curricular
topics with confidence and enjoyment
8. Use a range of conjunctions (but, and, so and because)
