Introduction: Prestige and pride anchors Ateneo de Manila as one of the best universities in the

Philippines. It ranks 86th in Asia following the University of the Philippines as the top school in
the country at 68th according to an education and career report from Quacquarelli Symonds for
2012. It is a school affixed to many on a tradition of nothing to point but excellence. Known for
its smart students and equally outstanding faculty, the Ateneo offers if not the best, one of the
best kind of education one can find in the Philippines and even the world.

I Even an Ateneo education can be useless if one does not nurture what he or she learns. If a
student does not apply the values upheld by the school nothing of positive effect will happen.
