Systems of da turtle

By : Julia

I come out of the plant, I am alive! I say but nobody hears me, I am not
alive for them but I am for myself.
Suddenly, an enormous turtle breathed me in with other O2 molecules.
Here we go again and I go up the nose and I feel something tickling me. It is the
Nasal cilia it make sures that dust and bacteria does not get in the body. Then I
am shot down from the entrance to the respiratory system.
Then, I go down the trachea. Ahhhhhhhhhhh! The trachea connects the
mouth or nose to the lungs, the largest organ in that system. There is the
esophagus in back of us or is that in front of us I am not sure, and I see food
going down it!
After that, I go to the lungs and then I got caught on the bronchioles and
went to the alveoli. Then a artery got me and carried me to the circulatory
system.
The blood vessels have more red blood cells that I have ever seen! Then I
decide that I want to become CO2. So I catch up with the blood stream to the
heart. When I get in the heart it looks like a squeezed spider web. The heart
pumps blood 24/7 and it is the second most important organ in the body. I go in
through the Pulmonary artery to go to the lungs to get breathed out of the
turtle's body.
When I get back to the lungs da turtle breathes me back through the
trachea. It is like my journey all over again! Now I am out of the mouth. That was
my quickest journey in the body yet! Bye turtle I enjoyed going inside you! Yay! I
am now CO2! Oh look there is the plant that I was born in 5 seconds ago! Oh!
Here I go again!
