Salinity Monitor SL700

There have resently been found that there has been problems with readings
from the salinity electrodes. The cause of the problem hae been traced to be
way the electric connections hae been made.

It the electrical drawings the screen on the cable between the salinity
electrode and control unit is shown connected to vessels earth.

This connection is not allowed, as this will cause damage to the electrode and
give erratic readings. Therefore, when such an installation is seen, please
remove the earth connection, so following result is obtained.
