asking each student or family to bring at least one school supply item to stuff the school bus in the large parking lot.

BYRD MS IS RECYCLING! HELP US RAISE MONEY FOR OUR SCHOOL!


Byrd MS is participating in the Clothing-to-Cash Recycling program. Bring your old clothing, shoes, sheets,
towels, (all textiles) in ALL conditions and we will get paid for every pound collected! Its that easy!
Byrd MS has the potential of raising money throughout the year, while continuing green initiatives and
educating students on the benefits of recycling.

Byrd Office Assistant Team
BOAT is an excellent way to be a part of your middle schoolers life. No special background is
required. BOAT volunteers sign up for a particular 2 hour shift every month.
BOAT volunteers help the front office staff by answering telephones during peak times, taking
messages, checking on absentees, and assisting students. If you cant commit to a fixed date and time,
substitutes are always needed, because life (and sickness) happens.
You may pick up an application in the main office or email Kathy Johnson-Paul at
kjpaul@henrico.k12.va.us. We look forward to working with you!

Clip box tops and earn cash for Byrd! Each box top is worth 10 cents and that adds up
quickly. Money collected from box tops help fund student passports, student
programs, classroom grants, family events, 8th grade year-end activities, teacher
appreciation events etc. Thank you!
