I Gusti Ngurah Rai was born in the village of Carangsari, Evening, Badung regency,
Bali, Dutch East Indies at January 30, 1917.(simple past tense)(1) and died at 20 November
1946 and then buried in the temple tabanan Marga Bali.(simpe past tense)(2) His father was
named I Gusti Ngurah Trench who is a foreign.(simple past)(3)

After completing his education at Denpasar and MULO in Malang, in 1936 he
