Saltwater Density Lab

-Part 1
Saltwater(Green).................Volume:5mL...Mass:5.3g.Density:1.06g/mL
Sugar water(Yellow)............Volume:5mL...Mass:5.1g.Density:1.02g/mL
Water(Clear)........................Volume:5mL...Mass:4.7g.Density:0.94g/mL

-Procedure
Put 5 mL of each substance in the pipette, we also zeroed the graduated cylinder
then we added the 5 mL into it then we weighed it. Then we did the D=M/V to find the
density of each substance.

-Part 2
Trying to make the egg sure
Volume of the egg:51
Mass of the egg:60.8 g
D=M/V
60.8
55 =1.105
-Procedure
We found the volume of the egg by seeing how much the water went up in the
graduated cylinder after dropping the egg in the cylinder. Then we found out the volume
by Mass over density. We chose to drop the egg in the saltwater because the density of
the saltwater was closer to the density of the egg. That way the egg will float!

Ps we took a picture of the egg floating but we accidently deleted the picture. Plus you
saw the egg float.
-Part 3
Currents within the Mediterranean Sea
The density is higher because of the salt
Air Density (Air Pressure) and Wind
The higher you go the less dense the air is.
