Dear Parent/Carer,

Fundraising Bake Sale for Red Nose Day

Friday 24 March 2017

This year, Isleworth & Syon is raising money for Red Nose Day 2017.

We will host a Bake Sale to raise money for this worthwhile cause on Friday 24 March 2017.

Your son/ward can participate in the Bake Sale by either donating cakes to sell and/or bringing
in some spare change to buy the donated cakes during break and lunchtime on the day. All cake
donations shall be collected from the pupils during morning registration.

Cake donations do not have to be home-made; if you would prefer to buy a cake to donate, that
too is greatly appreciated. However, if you do fancy the challenge of baking your own cake, that
would be really wonderful! All pupils have been emailed some recipes which should be quite easy
to follow and don't require lots of ingredients to help inspire and get you started.

The money we raise will help people living really tough lives in the UK and across Africa. For
example, 2.50 could buy a mosquito net to protect a family in Africa. In the UK, 5 could pay for
an isolated elderly person with dementia to have dinner at their local support group. On their
behalf, thank you.

We will also be using Red Nose Day as a learning opportunity to help our pupils explore the
issues facing young children across the world, and how the money that we raise can help.

We really appreciate your support, and hope that you will have fun helping Isleworth & Syon raise
money for Red Nose Day.

Yours faithfully,

Miss G Breach Mr D Chryssides Mr N Gaskell Mr B Milligan
