Lesson Plan 4: Formative Assessment:

Formative assessment: Students will have a Voice Thread with visuals about the
difference between a good and a service. After, students will verbally explain what the
differences are to a classmate and to the teacher.
Accommodation: Taylor can listen to the Voice Thread on her own and can write her
answers down. She can complete this activity anywhere in the classroom or at home for
homework, wherever she feels safe.

Summative assessment: At the end of this lesson (the end of the 3-week unit) students
will take a unit test. The test will be based off the objectives, the materials seen in class,
and the questions that the students wrote for homework.
Accommodation: Taylor can take this test in a separate room with an aide if needed. She
can have a quiet room with no distractions to help her feel less anxious and safe.
