Power Calculation of Electric Meter

1. The meter factor may be labeled as Kh, the units of Kh are watt*hours/revolution.
Or
2. The meter may also be labeled as Rr, number of revolutions per kilowatt-hour. revs/kWh.

First Case: (Heat Pump Data) Using kh

Factor = 150 revs/kWh => 150/1000 (rev/Wh) => 0.15 (rev/Wh) //From KW to watts)
Time= 67 sec
QH = 1345 Watts
P (watts) = (N/T) (revs/sec) *(3600 sec/hour) * (Kh) (Wh/rev)
Kh = 1/0.15 (Wh/rev) => kh= 6.667.
P= (1/67) * (3600) * 6.667 => P= 358.22 Watts
COP = 1345/ 358.22 => = 3.75

First Case: (Heat Pump Data) Using Rr

P (Kwatts) = (N/T) (revs/sec) *(3600 sec/hour) *(1/ Rr) (revs/kWh)
Factor = Rr = 150 revs/kWh
P= (1/67) * (3600) * (1/150) => P= 0.3582 (Kwatts) or P = 358.2 Watts.
COP = 1345/358.2 => 3.75.
