Title: One Shape Two Shape Red Shape Blue Shape

Relevant SC Standards: K-4.1* Identify the two-dimensional shapes square, circle,


triangle, and rectangle and the three-dimensional shapes cube,
sphere, and cylinder.

Description: This app lesson will develop kindergarten students in math, students
will focus on identifying two dimensional shapes and be able to identify a square, circle,
triangle, rectangle. The three dimensional shapes they will be able to identify is a cube,
sphere, and cylinder.

Instructional Objective: Students will be taught the difference between two and
three dimensional shapes and be able to identify certain shapes.

Step 1: Students will watch a video on Youtube discussing the difference between two
and three dimensional shapes as a whole class.

Step 2: Students will then split up in groups and play a collaboration game on a tablet
that matches up shapes to their name.

Step 3: Students will then go back to their sets for more instructional time. I will be

Step 4: Students will then take a quiz on kahoot.it for me to get a baseline of where the
class is on understanding the material.
