Self Reflection

Self-reflection is about

Alhamdulillah, after i follow class PGT 436E ICT In Education, i know how important ICT
in 21th Century Education. Learning and teaching 20th century and the 21st century is very
different. As you know, 20th century learning based on teacher and 21 st century learning
based on student. Rapid technological developments helped the development of education in
the 21st century, it is so different with the 20th century education. Be honestly, before this I
do not know about ICT. I dont know how to used ICT in education. After i join Class PGT
436E, it teach me about ICT in education.

ICT is the combination potentials at computer, telecomunication and electronic media

using the digital tecnology. It is a tool and facilities to deliver information. Teacher can use
that to increase the efectiveness of teaching deliver. E-learning or electronik learning its
means teaching and learning that are conducted through the medium of internet to support the
learning in classroom. Two category of e-learning, learning management system is a software
platform used to deliver and track training courses and content management system is a
software used to author and manage learning content.

I also learn about instruction system design. It provide a guidance funtion towards the
achievement of specific objectives and promoting of desired learning. Many WEB 2.0 teacher
can use to help them to teach student. It easier than before this, learning can be everywhare,
not only in class, just u have electronic like computer and internet to access WEB 2.0.

Every advantage must have disadvantage. The disadvantage use WEB 2.0 if lose to a
access internet. Parent and teacher also should monitor student use internet scared abused. It
is because student maybe access the web that should not be seen.

Lastly, thanks to both of thanks to both of my lecturer PGT 436E Prof Madya Dr
Azidah Abu Ziden and Dr Dr. Rozniza Zaharudin because teach me about ICT in education. It
so important to me to be a good teacher for 21st century.
