I. Introduction

A wonderful evening to each and every one. Welcome to Alliahs 18

Birthday party. We would like to thank everyone for gracing this very
momentous occasion because as they say, you only get to be 18 once.

I would like to introduce the key persons who took a great part in
making this joyous event possible. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my great
pleasure to introduce to you the family of our lovely debutant. (Kuya
Mac, Mama Iya and Simon.) (description by our debutant)

Si papa mak tito, papa, tas bestfriend halos all in na kay papa
mak. Gusto nya na pinapakanta ako pag may mga occasion
hehehe tas sabi daw lain daw ako mahiya na ipakita sa iba ang
talent ko. Arog sada si papa mak. Para sa ako maski wara ako
daddy yada man para saako ang mga tito ko na nagpakita sakon
kung papano magka papa.

Si papa mike saro sa mga tawo na thankful ako kay nin mga
panahon na naghahanap ako nin daddy sinda ni papa mak ang
nagpuno nin mga pagkukulang samon nin saro na ama. Kulang
ang phrase na thank you para maexpress ko kung gaano ako
nagpapasalamat sainda. Wara siguro ako sa posisyon ko niyan
kung lain dahil sainda.

time knight and shining armor ko. Sya yung nandyan para
 paalalahanan ako nawag magsuot ng sobrang ikling damit. Nag
aaway man kami pero mahal ko yan thankful ako kasi sya yung
naging kapadit ko.

Si mama always yada para saamo maski na pirme kami

napapagsabihan kay maawayun kami. Aram ko padabaonon kami
ni mama. Siya ang isad sa mga tawo na aram ko lain kami
papabayaan.

And now I would also like to acknowledge the persons behind Alliahs
life ika nga nila kung wala ang mga taong ito wala sya literal Lets
give a round of applause the mother of our debutant Mrs. Myra Wang
and her beloved husband Tito Awon.

Si mommy siya ang tawo na kaya isakripisyo intiro para saamo.

Maski na aram namo mapagal sa side niya bayaan kami, mas
pinili niya maghali para saamo. Siya ang mommy tas daddy
namon. Siya pirme ang nag eencourage saakon na mag sali sa
mga activities like mag banda. Lain ko man masabi kung gaano
ako ka thankful saiya pero sana aram niya idto. May mga times
man na nagtatampo ako kay mommy way ko lang idto para
mapansin niya kay namimiss ko siya.

Tito awon well sana makilala ko pa siya lain as tito pero

hopefully makilala ko siya as papa din. Lain man kami
magkaintindihan dahil sa language boundaries namo sana aram
niya na thankful ako saiya kay may nagpapasaya na kay mommy
aside saamo.
 So now I would like to introduce to you the handsome master candles
together with our pretty flower girl.

Some of us have been fortunate enough to see Alliah grow and blossom
into a beautiful lady, but for others, I will tell you some information
about her. (DESCRIBE) tonight is a celebration of adulthood and a
thanksgiving of the life God has given to our lovely celebrant. Let us
put our hands together, as we welcome the main highlight of this
celebration, and as she stepped into a higher level of life the reason
why we all gather here tonight, ladies and gentlemen. Without further
ado, let us all rise and give a warm round of applause, Ms. Alliah Sierra
Mae Engo together with her escort Mr. Russel Estareja.

II. PRAYER

Wow, blooming and lovely, indeed! Saan nga ba siya nag mana? Kayo
na ang humusga, Alliah has had happy years in a very happy home. The
love of a family will always be Gods greatest blessing. Sabi nga nila,
in life we can have several friends, classmates, and social circles, but
there is only one family who is always willing and ready to welcome us
no matter what. At this moment, Id like to request everybody to please
stand as we say our prayer before meals to be led by AMM Band.

So now lets start the 18 Candles they say, memories are ways to hold
on to the things that we love, and to the things that we dont want to
lose. Sabi nga ni mareng Cynthia Ozick: What we remember from
childhood, we remember forever. Tonight we have 18 selected people
who will share with us her unforgettable memory with our lovely
debutant. Alliah, are you ready for the bukingan time?

Lets continue the 18 treasures. As the debutante celebrates the

beginning of womanhood, she will need tools that help her in the
future, encourage her in the present, or give her something fond to look
back on. In the 18 Treasures program, friends and family members are
tasked to give the debutante special gifts or tokens, and explain how
they will become inspirations for her. These treasures represent the
friendship between the giver and the debutante, because they indicate
how well they know each other. A debut is an event that is once-in-a-
 lifetime for many girls. Its more than just an extravagant birthday party
its a celebration of life, and of whats to come.

THE 18 ROSES

18th birthday marks the end of teenage and the beginning of adulthood.
It is a very special day in every one's life because on this a person
cherishes the old moments filled with love, care and shelter but now the
person is moving towards adulthood where she will be loaded with
responsibilities and independence of thought and expression. As the
debutante receives her 18 roses let it be a reminder that like the rose life
is beautiful, however, there are thorns that signify that life isnt that
easy for there are problems to be faced. It is up to her how she will
handle these hurdles with the support of her family and friends. Music

coming of age for Alliah, therefore permits her to get one Wine, a
celebration of prosperity ahead of her, to explain a few. The 18 shots
serve as Alliahs 18 well-wishers in her toast towards life, living life to
the fullest with the guidance of her loved ones and God.

Let me share another good-to-know trivia to everyone on how birthday

cakes and candles came about as a tradition during birthdays. Some
believe that the tradition of birthday candles began in Ancient Greece.
Putting candles on a cake was a special way to pay tribute to the Greek
moon goddess, Artemis. They baked round cakes to symbolize the
moon. Candles were added to represent the reflected moonlight.
Todays tradition of making wishes before blowing out the birthday
candles may have started with that belief. Enough of all those did-you-
know trivia because at this part of the program, our lovely and stunning
Alliah will blow the candles on her birthday cake. And to complete that
customary practice, let us all sing joyfully a song I am very sure
everybody is familiar with, the happy birthday song!
