    Dear Chancellor Velasco:

    In connection with the university policy on big class size, the Agricultural Extension
    Communication (AEC) class of the Agricultural Systems Cluster will be offered this coming
    first semester 2007-2008 as one big class with four recitation classes. This subject used to be
    offered in three to four sections for first and second semesters respectively with about 40
    students per section.

    May we request that the ASC lecture hall be provided with the necessary amenities like air
    conditioning units and a sound system to develop an atmosphere conducive for learning. These
    amenities will also benefit other lecture classes of the cluster.
