SPECIAL REPAIR OF METALLED ROAD CHOWK AZAM BY PASS 9.50 KM.

HISTORY

This road off takes from Layyah Chowk Azam Road and connect with MM
Road (Chowk Azam Bypass Road). This road was constructed by the Punjab Highway
Department near about 16 years ago. This road provides the better facilities for transportation
of local area people. Due to heavy traffic, this road was badly damaged. Due to shortage of
annual repair funds this road has not been repaired up till now.
While considering the difficulties the people of the local area, special repair
estimate of the said road has been prepared as per site condition for getting the
Administrative Approval from the competent authority.

DESIGN AND SCOPE.

The following items have been provided in the estimate.

Earth work for damaged Berms
Overlay / Base course 4 thick
TST using 79 lbs. bitumen & 9.75 Cft
bajri for 100 sft area.
DST using 53 lbs. bitumen & 6.00 Cft
bajri for 100 sft area.

CARRYING OUT OF WORK.

The work will be carried out after calling competitive tenders from the
approved contractors of Punjab Highway Department.

RATES.
Rates provided in the estimate are based on MRS- BI-ANNUAL PERIOD (1ST
January 2017 TO 30th June 2017) issued by the Finance Department.

TIME.
It will take 06 Months to complete the work.

COST.
The total cost works out to Rs. 31854000/-
