Mrs. Aisah: Waalaikumsalam Wr. Wb. Good afternoon, too.

Faisal : Today we would like to make an interview with you, do you agree with us?

Mrs. Aisah: Of course, yes, fine.

Faisal : For the first question is, we want to know what was your education background that you have
already been through?

Mrs. Aisah: My education background? You mean like degree program? Well, I was graduated from State
University of Jakarta, majoring in Education of English, so I was an alumni of ED department. And then,
I took my master degree at University of Indonesia, majoring Linguistic.

Faisal : Thats very cool! The second question is could you please mention one of the researches of
yours that had been done? Do your research relevant with your major?

Mrs. Aisah: Yeah, I- Ive ever conducted a research in academic writing class, and the title is coherent in
student essay. What was the other question?

Faisal : Do your research relevant to your major?

Mrs. Aisah: Oh yeah, at that time, I also taught the class, academic writing, and its related to my major,
that is English.

Faisal : What do you think about your research?

Mrs. Aisah: Well, I found that student still have difficulty in writing coherently. One of the hmmI
meancourse that makes student difficult to write coherently. It was because they didnt have vision
knowledge to write. So thats why the story was a little bit spread out everywhere, they talk about a lot of
things without one thing in whole. I think theres no wholeness in their writing or there is no coherent in
their writing.

Faisal : The next question is, what do you feel to become one of the lecturer in ED?

institution, ED, is more challenging, not intend of difficulty, but intend of I have to improve my ability or
I have to severaloh not several but a lot of steps, because the students that we have, in this institution,
ED, are students who are very keen learner, eager learner, they can read first before enter the class room
(for example), ya, of course there are some students who do not read at all (for example) but, most of
students here are very diligent. So, the challenge is I have to be well-prepared.
