EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Recruitment is a very vast procedure and it includes finding right candidates, evaluating them
and establishing a working relationship as future employees and as interns. In HCL Infosystems
Ltd. various methods of Hiring are used such as recruitment through Job Portals, Walk-In
interviews, referrals and campus recruitment. This study was done to find out what various
methods used by HCL for recruitment, functioning of recruitment procedure and area of
improvement to make recruitment procedure efficient and cost effective.

The objective of the study is to learn about various recruitment process adopted by HCL, and to
evaluate how well this processes are helpful for the purposes underlying the operational aspects
of the industry.

Traditional Methods used for Hiring people are very successful but can be innovate in more
efficient way so that theres no wastage of Human Resources and utilize them efficiently by
developing some new methods and ideas of hiring people as per organization requirement.
Finding out the best Talent requires the organization to change and modify its practices
according to the changing trends in the market scenario.

The new methods of recruiting candidates can be introduced in organization like by posting new
vacancies on various social networking sites such on Facebook page, LinkedIn etc. As every
individual is connected and available on these networking sites so this methods will prove to be
efficient and also reduced the budget of recruitment.

For the growth and continuous development of organization employees play a great role. So
