Learning Objectives:
At the end of this lesson, students
will be able to:
1. Open Google Maps
2. Insert location and locate
on map
3. Get directions from MSJC to
a place of interest (home, work, zoo, restaurant)

Procedure:
1. Choose Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google
In the search box type: Google Maps
Select Google Maps and click.

2. Click on Get Directions

3. There will be two boxes.

Type inside the

starting point box: Mount San Jacinto Community College, Menifee.
Type inside choose destination box: Riverside Public Library.

4. Sometimes a drop down box may appear

Select Library near Marcy Branch, Riverside, CA

The result will be at least two sets of directions from MSJC to the
Riverside Public Library Marcy Branch.

Choose one of the routes that you would like to see detailed directions

5. Now, click on the up/down arrows to the right of starting point and destination
boxes.
This will give reverse directions.
These are directions going from the library back to MSJC in Menifee.

Practice: Type your own information in the boxes.
