Responsibilities of TSO & DSO


Comisin Federal de electricidad (CFE) is the mexican utility
and all the electrical process is integrated.
The Transmission System Operator has the responsability of
maintaining high voltage network availability and reliability
of transmission and transformation as well as operate the
national grid maintaining continuity, power quality and
frequency with maximum safety and economy.
The Distribution system operator is responsible for
distribution and marketing of electric power and rural
electrification.
The National Energy Control Center main function is to plan,
direct and supervise the operation of the country's electrical
system to achieve the basic objectives which are safety,
continuity, quality and economy of electric service.
