Calor humano in Colombian people

During 2013, Colombia was regarded as the happiest country in the world by Winn-Gsllup
Internacional Group. Since then, Colombia has occupied the first places in this ranking,
demonstrating to the world the happiness of the country Furthermore, Colombia is a country
of celebration due to the enormous amount of festivities that are celebrated throughout the
year. As a result of this, Colombian People are always expressing and sharing their
happiness, regardless of language and cultural barriers.

To being with, Colombian people always have a friendly attitude toward all situations. The
priorities for Colombians are focus not only on the rumba but also on the family and Friends.
Consequently, Colombians tend to face in a friendly and happy way the situation that happens
around them, because, what enriches the Colombian people is the friendship that is obtained
from the first minute of being in the country, the Colombians will try to accompany and
support all the people they know. To illustrate, we must talk about soccer games and how the
score in Colombia does not matter, what really matters is the event, everybody celebrate
because their soccer team won or for the possibilities of winning the next match.

Besides, unlike most of the planet and especially the European rea, the expression of
affection is very important for Colombian people. Due to this, the foreigners who visit the
country are surprised of the treatment that they receive, because in their countries of origin
the affection is not shown too much. The Colombian people are accustomed to use the
touching as a way for expression, kisses, hugs and greets are mandatory in a conversation.
Because of this, the language barrier doesnt matter and foreigners are welcomed and treated
like relatives.

However, there are some rules in the colombian calor humano that foreigners have to
assimilate,for example, Colombian people like to stand very close to another in a
conversation and sometimes touching is very common, because of this, it can be
seen disrespecful the fact of lean away. Furthermore,

In conclusion, if you are a foreign and want to come to Colombia, you better be prepared to
daily warm hugs, kisses and greetings. You will understand why the country is in the ranking
of the happiest countries in the world, when you attend a spontaneous party that has no
reason, when an unknown person calls you neighbor and finally when your find there is a
Colombian at your side trying to support you.
