B. 10 points have to come from meeting attendance, meetings are 5 points each

2. HANNAH CLAYTONVP COMMUNICATIONS

A. Faculty Appreciation Packages for the Halloween season
i. Plan: to provide bags of small candy, highlighters and pencils to the social
studies teachers at TWHS
ii. 4 points per donated package, up to 16 points max
iii. 10 points for coming to help assemble the goody bags
iv. Candy, pencils and highlighters can be dropped off in room 236 on October 25th
and 26th
v. Assembly will be after school in room 236 on October 26th

3. RACHEL MELTZERVP EVENTS

i. Operation Gratitude: Nov. 6-10
B. We will be collecting items and sending them to the local VFW in light of Veterans
day in November. You may sign up to bring care package items, or write cards
 thanking veterans for their service. You may also sign up to help assemble the
packages.
C. 4 points for items, up to 16 points. 10 points for coming and assembling. Yes you

A. Adopt an HISD Classroompackages were set up and will be mailed out. We
collected over 200 items!
B. Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF
i. October 31st at 6 PM
ii. Terramont park meet up and get trick or treat boxes and instructions
iii. Split into groups of 4-5 w/ assigned group leader who brings $ back to room 236
iv. Historical figure costume contestplease dress up! BUT the best historical
costume gets a PRIZE.
v. 16 points for attendance, 10 points to the group that collects the most $$ for
UNICEF

wearing your t shirt on meeting days, seeing a historical
movie and turning in the ticket stub to room 236, or
tutoring outside of school in social studies (grades 4-12).
