Reflection (to be completed after discussion of Peer Review with colleague): e.g. how did you feel about conducting a formal
observation? How did your colleague feel about being observed? How did you feel about discussing your observations with your
colleague after the lesson? How did your colleague react to your assessment? Did she agree with your evaluation? Which of the
suggestions you made will your colleague apply in her next lesson? Do you and your colleague feel that this was a valuable
experience? Why/Why not?

It was a good experience to learn from each other, I feel it was a creative lesson, but always there are points
need to be improved like to be patient teacher, always praise students and provide them with effective
positive environment. Ms. Noora said she is satisfied about the lesson. As well, she received my feedback
pleasurably and she agreed that there are some points need to be developed such as raise her voice and be
more energetic to encourage students. I think when I observed my colleague it was a perfect idea to learn
more about teaching science where my classmate was really creative and followed the 5Es that let her
lesson be clear and sequenced. Moreover, she had effective management where her class students were
engaged and worked that showed me how she gave clear instructions. Furthermore, I like her story about
Nooras home in the evaluating phase that to check on students understanding as also she was holding a
students list to check on each individual student. I am glad that miss Noora has a real talent in which she
was able to deliver the lesson for her students by using different teaching strategies.
