VI. EXPECTED OUTCOMES

Transversal content: Although the activities proposed in this class aim to be

motivational through entertainment, the theme of friendship is closely related to the civic and
moral values.

Fundamental capacities:
Area capacities:

Listening & Speaking: The entire lesson plan design relies strongly on oral
comprehension (activities 1, 3 and 4) and to some extent on oral expression (warm-up,
activities 2 and 5). Students interaction of a minimum quality is essential in order to
accomplish the goal of the class.

Reading: Each student will perform an individual reading

comprehension task (the lyrics with gaps sheet). Although the reading comprehension
task is not an extensive one, the reading material is a genuine English text, a sample of a
language used in a popular culture.

Writing: Activity 5 puts into practice and assesses student's

understanding of the grammatical structures learned during this class.

VII. CONCLUSIONS

With this proposal we aim to present some grammatical structures to the EFL students in a
funny and accessible way.
