Weatherdon

Over the last two years, I have had the opportunity to teach Sarah
through a variety of courses in the Child and Youth Care program at
St. Lawrence College. As her professor, I have had an opportunity to
observe her participation and interaction within class as well as
evaluate Sarah’s knowledge of the subject matter. Throughout the
last two years, Sarah has consistently demonstrated dedication and
commitment to her academic studies.

During the 206-2017 school year I was also Sarah’s faculty

supervisor during her second year field placement as a child and
youth care worker in a challenging and diverse non-profit recreational
setting. During this time I was able to observe, first hand, Sarah’s
dedication to working with children and youth. During each of her
evaluation meetings, Sarah was given much positive feedback
including specific commendation surrounding her caring nature and
dedication to the field.

Over the course of the last two years, Sarah has demonstrated a
passion for working with children, youth and families. Within the field
of Child and Youth Care, she has excelled both academically as well
as in field practice. I am pleased to provide recommendation for
Sarah as she pursues a career in the field of Child and Youth Care
