Tell me about your background, your childhood dreams regarding career choices, your plan for
life in some detail.

I belong to a Business Family with a liberal mind and an independent streak. I opted to do Bachelors in
architecture as I wanted to create Buildings That Could Last For Decades And Knowing That They Will
Make A Positive Impact On People’s Lives And The Environment. For this, I wanted to choose a career
in management as I found my skills to be more aligned with Managing and Planning rather in
designing. I always envisaged myself to be at a Top Managerial Position in one of the best
Infrastructure firms knowing I Would be Contributing to society both Socially and Environmentally.

2. How did you come to know about RICS SBE?

I came to know about RICS SBE through a facebook and then researched it on the internet where I
found out that this was an industry led institution and gives great exposure and placement
opportunities to students The brand value of RICS was enough to convince me that this was the
right place for my Masters Degree.

3. What made you go for MBA in RICS SBE?

4. How was your experience while learning at RICS SBE? Give examples.

My journey in RICSSBE has transformed me into a more confident person, where beside the core academic
and learning , I gained experience in various more important aspects of life. The faculties are from the
industry and works hard to develop our skills and make us all rounded individuals who are ready to take on
any challenges in our jobs.

5. Why would you recommend RICS SBE to others? Give at least 5 reasons.

I would definitely recommend all prospective students to join RICS SBE and embark their career
towards a more fulfilling and promising future. RICS has not only helped in making me more
technically competent but has helped me in identifying the leadership qualities that are needed to be
successful in the competitive global environment.

6. How was your internship experience? What did you learn?

I Had interned with CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd. Where I was involved in Providing Effective
management solutions throughout the project, Monitoring and controlling progress at site and
Maintaining records of Material Inspection Reports, Manpower Report and Daily Progress Reports.
The Comprehensive work environment in CBRE has taught me how effective Project management is
practiced and helped me to improve my communication and people management skills.
7. Tell us about your placement experience? Answer in detail

For my final placement I was certain that I wanted to work as a Project management
Professional in an EPC or an Architectural Firm. My placement experience has been robust and
the placement team had helped me finding the best suitable job profile for me. The Pre-
Placement Activities and Workshops had also helped me in preparing for my job interviews.
And eventually, I had the greatest opportunity to be selected for DSA Architects International,
Dubai as a Project Coordinator. All I needed to do was work hard be Positive and confident.

8. Are you clear about your future plans? Tell us about your future plans.

I would Like to work with DSA for few years and become an MRICS. Moreover, In future I
would like to start my own firm and provide Architectural and Project management
Consultancy.

9. Do you think a specialized MBA was a good choice or do you feel a generic MBA would have
given the same opportunities?

I only wanted to do a specialized MBA, I explored other options but CPM was one option that I felt
was best for me. MBA in Construction management is a techno-managerial course which has
imparts competencies on both technical and managerial levels.
