STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Working as Consultant

I want to work at a place where I can gain broad exposure in the different areas
of business. I want to get engaged in a work that requires leadership qualities,
research-based thinking and business skills. Consulting firm can provide me with
this and also can give significant amounts of responsibility in dynamic environment.
Also, by working in a reputed and multinational consultancy firm, I can get a chance
to explore new places and so people.

I believe that my four years of stay at I.I.T. Bombay has prepared me for a career
in consulting. My engineering education has given me a great insight of technology, a
strong background in mathematics and a great exposure to computer programming.
Working for various festivals held at I.I.T. Bombay and events occurring in Hostels,
has given me a great experience of teamwork and time management. My positions of
responsibility have provided me to lead a team and to distribute the work amongst
the team members according to their experience in the same.
