A Healthier Meal
After reviewing the data, I can almost immediately conclude that Back Yard Burger is the the least nutritious meal. With 1,098
calories as the total meal value, it counts as just about half of my daily recommended caloric intake. The main factor in the
difference in calories is the high amount of sodium their fries contain. The fries have 363 more grams of sodium than Burger
King's fries, which are the second highest on the list. Back Yard Burger's small coke surprisingly has more sodium than the other
restaurants as well. The most nutritious meal of the group is McDonalds with 620 calories. This information was surprising to me
because McDonalds is typically known for being very unhealthy, however, according to the data they are the best of the group.
McDonalds products are lowest in sodium in all of the categories except for the small coke. They are second to highest in
sodium behind Back Yard Burger. Overall, based on my DRV, McDonalds would be the best option because of the lower calories.
