Slide Sets

Each chapter in the syllabus has a corresponding slide set to accompany it, with the exception of:

Chapter J-Postpartum Hemorrhage and K-Maternal Resuscitation: The chapters in the syllabus do not
include slide sets. There is a PPH/MR slide set included on this CD-Rom in the MR/PPH folder, intended to use
in the PPH/MR Workstation.

Chapter L – Safety in Maternity Care: There is a video included in this slide presentation. The actual video
file is also embedded in the slide. Hover over the video image on the slide with your mouse and find the ‘play’
button below the image. If, for any reason, your video does not play, you may refer to the actual video file in
this folder.

Chapter M-OB Cases: The slide sets for the OB Cases are included on the Course Materials Folder on this
CD-Rom. There is no longer a Word document to accompany the cases. Questions to ask the participants are
also included within the Power Point presentation and should be used as “teaching points” during each step of
the case discussion. These slide sets may be printed for the participants to include behind the ‘M’ tab in their
syllabus.
