2018 Daylight Saving Time Change

LanguageLine® Solutions Scheduled Work-At-Home Interpreters-Mexico

Dear Mexico Interpreters,

On Sunday, April 1, 2018 the time in Mexico changes and “springs”

forward by 1 (one) hour, however, the time in the United States
changes on March 11, 2018.

What this means to you:

During this time, you will need to calculate a one-hour difference in
your schedule because it reflects in Pacific Time. For instance, if you are
scheduled to start working at 0600, this will be 0700 in your Central
Time Zone. Please check with your local authorities if this applies to
your community, and make arrangements for this adjustment.

Please remember that the time change does not automatically enable
you to a change in your window of availability. However, you can still
submit your request for a change via Support Requests, using the
Schedule Change Request Category and the Type Permanent Schedule
Change. Changes will count towards your allotted 1 change requests for
the year. Your requests will be reviewed by the Staffing Analysts, and
will be approved or denied based on our staffing needs.

Thank you,

Rafael Liriano
