- Gwen has a trip from 11/6-11/14
- Zoe has a trip from 11/16-11/27
- Scheduled for 11/1 at CPK after school
- Meet in front of CPK
b. Poker Hand Winners Prize
- Poker hand winners that didn’t show up to the last general meeting
forfeited their prize that was given to the kahoot participants
- There is one Jamba Juice prize card left
c. CTSO
- 8 people turned in the contract
 - Hold participants after October 26th general meeting for 10 minutes call
- Send out a remind for CTSO participants to stay after the October 26th
general meeting

Zoe - Vice President

a. MICC Report
- Form must be filled out annually and signed for DECA social media -
Facebook, Instagram, Google Plus
- Clubs in Action Bulletin Board will be up by January 10th in front of
Ms.Miller’s office
- Carnival contract deadline is 10/30,
- It’s first come first serve. The sooner you turn in the contract, the better
chance you get to pick your booth location
- There’s an option to partner with EK Fernandez
- DECA will be selling drinks with Skills USA, Vex Robotics, FCCLA
- Carnival is 2/16-2/18
b. Quarterly Report and Roster turned in by October 4th
c. Talk to Ms.Castro about agreement signatures and Edlio link to DECA website
- “As a member of the Mililani High School DECA Chapter, I agree to follow the
Attendance Policy for DECA activities and I understand that if I do not meet these
expectations, I will not be considered an “active” member and may be denied
attendance to club activities and outings.”
- “By signing next to my name, I am promising that this club has successfully
introduced me to the club’s constitution. I understand the club’s purpose and goal
as stated in the constitution. I am aware of all club requirements, expectations,
and policies as stated in the club’s constitution. If I do not follow these guidelines,
I risk the consequences as stated in the consequences.”

- The first statement is one that DECA members signed and agreed to
on their membership application. The second statement is one that
members are supposed to sign and agree to that will be listed on our
roster. Ask Ms.Castro if we still need members to sign it since both
statements are similar. Or we can leave out a roster with the list of
names of people who didn’t sign and agree to the second statement,
and turn in parts of the roster throughout the year.

d. Halloween Themed Activity for October 26th General Meeting

e. Other Things You Wanted To Discuss
- Create questions in advance for our guest speaker and give them to
random DECA members to ask. Have the questions surrounding marketing
and entrepreneurship since our DECA member survey suggests that
 members want to learn about those two topics the most. Create questions
in the In4mation google document shared in the DECA Shared Folder,
17-18.
- Ryan Arakaki is an MHS alumni who graduated in the ‘90s. He was a
sponsored skateboarder. His company, In4mation, has around 3-5 partners.
They have a few stores in Hawaii and Vegas.

- A google form is being created to track members and the meetings they
attended
b. Possibly send out inactive member letters
- Members receive an “inactive status” if you miss 2 meetings and or activities

- There are 7-8 shirts left for pick up

a. Pre-sale Jamba Juice Forms
- The punch cards expire June 30, 2018
b. Tentative Dates: October 27th-November 17th
- Official Dates: 11/17-11/30
- Sell tickets over break to family
- Send a remind out during Thanksgiving break to sell their cards

b. Attendance/Sign-in Sheet
- Talk with Mr.Pyda and see if we can open the doors when school
ends for DECA members to sign in so we reduce the line and can
start our meeting quicker
c. Potluck Sheet for Snack Group 2
d. Turn in D&B forms
- So far 23 members have turned in their forms
- Ask Gwen’s mom to chaperone
- We need to have 35 member sign up for D&B
