The difference between the perfect present and the simple past is that the
perfect present is used to mention an action still does not end, the perfect
present does not mention when the action is happening. Usually newspapers
use the perfect present in their titles.

The past simple is used to mention more specific information on the contrary
the perfect present is used for non-specific information or to describe a new
experience.

a) What myth about introverts and small talk does the introduction of the

Introverts especially tend to loathe small talk—but it’s not because we
shun connecting with others. “Let’s clear one thing up: introverts do not
hate small talk because we dislike people,” explains Laurie Helgoe in
Introvert Power: Why Your Inner Life is Your Hidden Strength. “We hate
small talk because we hate the barrier it creates between people.”

b) Imagine that you are at a cocktail hour with several international

business contacts. Write three questions you could ask to get the other
person to tell a story.
What places have they visited?
What is your favorite place to visit and why?
Why was the best part that place?
How was your trip?

very thirsty. After this I just sleep but I could not because a child would
not stop crying. When leaving the plane I went for my team which was
not. a bit of you the past?
