PHILSOPHY

of education
“Education is the most powerful weapon which
you can use to change the world”
Nelson Mandela
I believe that it is the responsibility of the teachers, schools, and
community to create a safe environment in which our children can be
inspired to learn, discover, and collaborate as they emerge into the
world as members of an interconnected community.

PHILSOPHY OF TEACHERS
I have equally high expectations for all of my students and am devoted
to developing systems that help my students hold themselves
accountable. I strive to develop strong relationships and build rapport
with my students from the first day that we meet.

PHILSOPHY OF STUDENTS
Students are vastly diverse learners whose needs are equally as varied.
I am committed to helping students develop the tools necessary to
succeed by teaching the “whole” child.

PHILOSOPHY OF LEARNING
Learning is a life-long process, and I strive to instill my passion for
learning upon my students. My goal is to serve as a facilitator to
empower students to develop a deep love for learning.
