The collection and inadequate disposal of garbage allows the development of insects that feed on it
producing some diseases to man such as typhoid, paratyphoid, amoebiasis, infantile diarrhea and other
gastrointestinal diseases. Garbage dumps are also formed that cause discomfort to people, generating bad
odors, becoming breeding grounds for flies, cockroaches, mice and contaminating water sources, soil and air
in general.

ACCORDING TO ITS
COMPOSITION
Organic waste: all waste of
biological origin, which was once
alive or was part of a living being
Inorganic waste: all waste without
biological origin, industrial nature
or some other artificial process, for
example: plastics, synthetic fabrics,
etc.
Waste mix: Refers refers to all
mixed waste, combining organic
and inorganic materials. Toxic
gases are formed by the mixture
of said residues. Due to the
hazards of mixed waste, some
people separate waste into
organic and inorganic waste. It is
important to get rid of the waste
generated on a day-to-day basis.
Hazardous waste: refers to all
waste, whether of biological origin
or not, which constitutes a potential
hazard(code CRETIB) and which
therefore must be treated in a
special way, for example, medical
material infectious, radioactive
waste, acids and corrosive
chemical substances, etc.
Inert waste: non-hazardous
waste that does not undergo
significant physical, chemical or
biological transformations; so
that they can not lead to
environmental contamination or
harm to human health. The total
leachability, the pollutant
content of the waste and the
ecotoxicity of the leachate are
insignificant and, in particular,
should not represent a risk to the
quality of the surface or
groundwater.
