SPECIAL AWARDS

BEST IN SALUDO COMPETITION

1. The contest is open to all athletic delegation both public and private elementary
and secondary schools during the Division Athletic Meet 2017.
2. Each delegation shall render a MOBILE SALUTE from the designated starting
point at the DNSTC and passing through the Grand Stand.
3. The participants are free to choose their own music during the said competition.
However, municipal hymn is highly encouraged.
4. Each contingent is given 3-5 minutes only for the whole duration of the
performance.
5. Each delegation shall perform the SALUDO following the 8 lanes of the oval.
6. A five (5)-point deduction from the total score will be imposed on the delegation
that will violate the guidelines.
7. The top three (3) delegations shall receive a plaque/certificate of recognition.
8. The judges shall determine the winners based on the following Criteria:

Uniformity of Marching Movements 30%

Saludo Execution, Presentation & Choreography 40%
Visual Impact 20%
Creativity and Style 10%

Total 100%
9. Props are NOT allowed. Only delegation banners ae well as the delegation
uniform in each competing contingent are permitted.
10. The decision of the board of judges is final and non-appealable.

SPECIAL AWARDS

BEST IN BILLETING QUARTERS

1. The contest is open to all athletic delegation both public and private elementary
and secondary schools of DepEd DavNor during the entire duration of the
Division Athletic Meet (DAM) 2017.
2. All contingents are designated in the different billeting areas for the entire
duration of the DAM.
3. Each team will prepare and decorate their own billeting quarter. Promotion of
their own municipal town is highly encouraged.
4. Use of recyclable and indigenous materials are highly encouraged.
5. The top three (3) delegation will receive a plaque/certificate of recognition.
6. Judges will visit the quarters to determine the winners based on the following
Criteria:

Uniqueness and Cleanliness 25%

Craftmanship and Orderliness 25%
Visual Impact 25%
Creativity and Style 25%
Total 100
7. The decision of the board of judges is final and non-appealable.

MOST ORGANIZED MESS HALL

1. The contest is open to all athletic delegation both public and private elementary
and secondary schools of DepEd DavNor during the entire duration of the
Division Athletic Meet (DAM) 2017.
2. Delegations are required to provide a mess hall for the athletes, coaches and
official for the whole duration.
3. The top three (3) delegations will receive the certificate of recognition and earn
points on the over-all ranking.
4. Judges will visit mess hall of each delegation to determine the winners based on
the following Criteria:

Uniqueness and Cleanliness 25%

Craftmanship and Orderliness 25%
Visual Impact 25%
Creativity and Style 25%
Total 100
5. The decision of the board of judges is final and non-appealable.

SPECIAL AWARDS

MOST DISCIPLINED DELEGATION

1. The contest is open to all athletic delegations both public and private
elementary secondary schools during the Opening Ceremonies of the Division
Athletic (DAM) 2017.
2. The delegations shall be judged from the start of the parade until the last part of
the opening program.
3. The judging spot shall be from the assembly area, during the parade, SALUDO,
going to the designated area at the oval and until the opening program will end.
4. Only one (1) delegation shall be declared as winner in this award.
5. Judges shall determine the winner based on the following criteria.

Uniformity in marching movements (Cadence) 50%

Orderliness and overall impact 50%
Total 100%
6. The decision of the board of judges will final and non-appealable.

SPECIAL AWARDS

MOST NUMBERED DELEGATION

1. The contest is open to all athletic delegations both public and private
elementary and secondary school during the opening ceremonies of
the 2017 Division Athletic Meet (DAM).
2. The delegation will be judged during the opening program of the
2017 Division Athletic Meet (DAM).
3. There will be committee assigned to check, reviewed and count the
attendance of the athletes, coaches/ chaperons and officials in each
delegation during the opening ceremony of the DAM.
4. Percentage of the entire delegation shall be strictly considered.
5. Only one (1) team will be declared as winner in this special award.
6. Judges will determine the winner.
7. The decision of the board of judges is final and non-appealable.
