What: Parent Orientation Meeting and Election of Officers (1st Meeting)

The meeting started at 1:30 pm with an opening prayer and followed by the following Agenda

I. Election of Officers

II. Monthly Fee Schedule of Payment

The Parents Committee and the Day Care Worker agreed to have P100
monthly fee per student due every 15th day of the month.

III. Upcoming Activities

A. Greenwich Pizza Making

All students were invited to join a pizza making on
July 14 ,2010 at 9:30 in the morning hosted by Greenwich Ulo ng Apo. It
is an optional event - NOT compulsory. The interested party will pay P150
– included of a Certificate of Attendance, Pizza, Spaghetti and Drinks, and
apron for the kids. Almost every parent agreed to have their kids join the
said event.

B. Nutrition Month Activities

 July is a Nutrition month and for this Years theme as part of the
celebration the DCC host different programs , which are follows:

1. Search for a Healthy Kid

The search is open for every enrolled student the
DCC. To be held on July 15,2010 - 1:00 pm at New Ilalim
DCC. The contestant must have the characteristics of being
healthy. The contestant will be judge through his or her
Immunization Records, Nutritional Status , Physical
Condition and Social,Emotional Condition Talent and
Audience Impact.The winner will compete on Cluster
Level on July 22,2010 at Banicain Covered Court and if
won in the will compete to City Level on July 26,2010 at
Olongapo City Convention Center.

2. Cooking Contest
The parents were divided into 5 groups
And will cook their recipe to compete with the other
group. It will be held on July 15, 2010 around 2pm
after the search for a Healthy Kid. The group will present
their entrée of main dish and dessert/snack. They will be
judge through the following criteria: Nutrition Value,
Palatability, Costing, Originality, Indigenousness and
Presentation. The winner will compete on Cluster Level on
July 22, 2010 at Banicain Covered Court and if won in the
will compete to City Level on July 26,2010 at Olongapo
City Convention Center.

3. Feeding Program for the Kids

The parents committee and teacher agreed to have a
Feeding Program for the kids everyday.The parents
will be divided into 5 groups assigned Monday to
Friday wherein they will cook healthy snack for the
kids like arrozcaldo, champorado , sopas etc.
Instead of buying some “Junk Food- Baon” for the
kids The group will had each others helping hand in
the preparation and will contribute equally to the
expenses. The parents found it very convenient and
very beneficial for the kids health. It also will play
an important role to a parent to parent camaraderie.

IV. Other Agenda

 1. Evryone is also invited to join their kids in BSP and GSP- Twinklers.
A program government wherein they can join camping and other
activities.

2. Meeting of the President of every DCC in Olongapo on August 13,

2010 at OC Convention Center where the main agenda is the
nomination of the officers of the Federation of Parents Committee of
DCC in Olongapo City.

3. Orientation Meeting of the Parents on July 7, 2010 at New Ilalim

DCC. To be hosted by our DSWD worker- wherein parents will be
informed of important things about our rights especially the women
and the kids, different important laws , important matters regarding our
children and even family planning.

4. Monthly Meeting of the Parents every last Friday of the month.

Absentee will have an equal penalty.
