The successful candidate will report directly to the Design Manager and have at least 15 years’ experience in
AutoCAD, preferably in the Australian High Rise Construction Industry
You will:
Be an effective leader and have strong communication and effective delegation skills,
Effectively work from head office on multiple projects located throughout Australia,
Be highly organized and have strong management skills,
Be personable and approachable,
Be reliable, honest, sincere and trustworthy,
Be resourceful, diligent and thorough,
Be able to work autonomously, and make decisions within your responsibility envelope,
Be capable of identifying and locating areas within your teams remit that require assistance / approval from
others,
Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a calm and mature approach to getting the job done,
Have great problem solving ability with a solution based mind set,
Be attentive to detail,
Be capable of retaining a running knowledge of multiple projects, each at different stages of their life cycle
as your department has involvement throughout the whole life cycle of the project,
Have the ability to independently carry out plans to completion,
Have a can do attitude with a practical work ethic,
Assist clients, suppliers and site staff with any questions relating to drawings and design
